Manitoba Government – Anti-Gang Crime Prevention
The Manitoba Government is continuing with another back-to-back citywide campaign, this time attempting to reach out to Winnipeg’s misdirected youth. With ominous, dark graphics and spray paint style “Stay out Of Gangs” message, these posters are sure to catch the eyes of some of the intended audience. A website is provided with tips on the realities of gangs, including insight from former gang members. Scotiabank Nuit Blanche – Artist Paul Butler
On October 3rd from Sunset to Sunrise Torontonian roamed the streets in the name of art. Adapt Media sponsored several locations for artist Paul Butler to showcase his work. The 4th annual Scotiabank Nuit Blanche centered on the theme of audience participation. The public was encouraged to get involved by using their smart phones and cameras to share what they saw as they made their way through the exhibits around the city.
